Nap & Stay Awake
Terms of Use
Last updated: October 30, 2026
These terms describe the use of Nap & Stay Awake, provided by TakeKApp ("we"). Please also review the applicable terms of your store and operating system.
1. Features and compatibility
Nap & Stay Awake provides vibration alarms, recurring schedules, snooze and dismiss tasks, and a Night screen. A supported device, OS and required permissions are necessary. Features and vibration behavior depend on the device, OS and app state.
2. Alarm limitations
The app does not guarantee that an alarm will be delivered or wake you. Check power, charge, alarm and notification permissions, and OS restrictions, and try the app on your own device beforehand. Use another alarm or safeguard when a missed alert could have serious consequences.
On iPhone, custom vibration patterns require the app to remain in the foreground. When the device is locked or another app is open, vibration is controlled by the OS. The black display in the Night screen is different from locking the device. Nap & Stay Awake is not intended as a medical device or emergency alert system.
Dismiss and snooze tasks are app features, not device security or authentication. They cannot be enforced when an alarm is stopped through OS controls.
3. Free features, ads and Premium
Basic alarms are free. Ads may appear on eligible screens. Nap & Stay Awake Premium removes ads and enables certain advanced settings. Choose a one-time purchase or a monthly auto-renewable subscription from the plans available in your store. Review the features, price and billing period shown in the purchase screen and your store. The monthly plan renews each month unless canceled. Manage or cancel it in the subscription settings of the store where you subscribed. After cancellation, access continues until the end of the paid period, then Premium entitlement expires. One-time purchases have no recurring charge.
Apple or Google handles payment. Purchases can be restored using the same account in the same store. A purchase in one store does not automatically transfer to the other. Refunds and cancellations follow the store's process and applicable law and may revoke entitlement. A one-time purchase means there is no recurring charge; it does not guarantee permanent service availability or compatibility with every future OS version.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for managing your device, settings, scheduled alarms and charge. Do not use the app unlawfully, infringe others' rights, interfere with the app or its services, or obtain purchases or entitlements fraudulently. Respect the intellectual property rights in the software, images and text, subject to exceptions allowed by law.
5. Data and privacy
Alarms and settings are stored on your device and may be lost due to device failure, deletion or OS changes. See our Privacy Policy for advertising, purchase management and usage analytics.
6. Changes, availability and liability
Features and supported environments may change, or the service may end, due to improvements, OS changes or other circumstances. We will provide advance notice of material impacts where reasonably possible. We do not guarantee completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or continuous availability.
Our liability is governed by applicable law. Nothing in these terms restricts mandatory consumer rights or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence where applicable.
7. Governing law and updates
Japanese law applies unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence remain unaffected. If these terms change for a reasonable need, we will communicate the changes and effective date through this page or the app as appropriate.
For apps obtained through the App Store, Apple's standard End User License Agreement also applies.
