Frequently asked questions
Can I use VersaMemo without an account?
Yes. VersaMemo does not require its own account for creating, editing, searching, or accessing local backups.
Is the app useful for simple notes?
Yes. You can open the app and start with a simple text note. Cards, hierarchies, timers, media, calculations, and other tools are available when you need them rather than required up front.
Does VersaMemo automatically sync between devices?
Not currently. Notes are stored locally, and you can create local backups or export a portable ZIP. Direct iCloud Drive, Google Drive, and multi-device sync are not part of the first release.
Is every feature free?
The core note-taking experience is free. Some advanced customization, image, OCR, translation, reminder, relationship, and calculation features use category-based trials and VersaMemo Pro.
Are locked notes encrypted?
No. App Lock and memo locks restrict access inside VersaMemo, but they do not encrypt the database, attachments, exported files, or Home Screen widget content.
Where can I get help?
Visit the support page for common answers and email contact. VersaMemo does not automatically include your memo content in a support request.
